Every time we travel, we seem to bump into someone who has local knowledge and good ideas of people and places we need to visit. Of course, we eagerly listen to these suggestions, and when we return to the office we do all our research to see if these stops can fit in on one of our tours. More often than not, they pass our check and we add them in.
Based on suggestions just like those, we’re planning some cool additions to both the Orange Blossom Tour and the Smoky Mountain Tour that we’ve never done before:
For the Orange Blossom Tour, we’re organizing an entire new day of activities and that will have us heading towards the east coast to check out yet another super-cool private collection in the Melbourne area.
For the Smoky Mountain Tour, we’re planning a first-time-ever day trip to Chattanooga for some exciting new stops.
As for the Golden State Tour, we still have a whole list of cool collections and historic stops to check out. But we do have one piece of exciting news: the Armstrong Woods Recreation Area of redwood trees, which we had to miss in 2021 because of fire damage, has reopened to visitors and is back on our itinerary for 2022.
With two of our three tours sold out and February’s Orange Blossom Tour start date visible on the horizon, it’s time for some serious detail work. We’re in the process of are calling all the stops on our show-stopping itinerary, confirming appointments, and finalizing every little thing to make this year special. Soon after that’s finished, we’ll map out and pre-drive our Orange Blossom Tour and our Smoky Mountain Tour to make sure the routes are pure perfection every mile of the way.Tho
To those of you who will be joining us – we look forward to seeing you soon!
