As we get ready to wrap up our 2024 season of three sold out tours, we’re excited to share with you what we have planned for 2025...
First up on the calendar, we have our Orange Blossom Tour: March 9-14 in Daytona Beach, Florida. This year we are changing up our schedule a bit by starting immediately after The Amelia rather than before it. This avoids Bike Week in the Daytona Beach area, leaving us free to enjoy the lovely Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort in peace.
This will be an all-new version of the Orange Blossom Tour, based on the east coast. It’s a hometown tour for the staff of Classic Motorsports Road Tours, and we’re especially excited to show off everything this area has to offer. While we will still travel some into the interior of the state, we’ll mostly focus on old Florida beach attractions like St Augustine, Flagler Beach, New Smyrna Beach and Ponce Inlet. We’ll visit private collections that we’ve never visited before, as well as an old favorite: the incredible Brumos Collection.
We are trying to limit our 2025 tours to 25 couples to ensure a more intimate and personal experience. This tour is nearly 2/3rds full already, so we recommend you register sooner rather than later to avoid heartache.
Next up and back by popular demand, we have our Smoky Mountain Tour: June 8-13 in Asheville, NC. We’ll be based right at the base of the Blue Ridge Parkway and a stone’s throw from other great roads including “The Rattler”, which is every bit as challenging as the “The Tail of the Dragon”, but with little or no traffic.
We’ll once again visit the BMW Performance center, and this time we should be able to squeeze in a plant tour and a trip to BMW’s secret warehouse where all the prototypes and race cars are stored.
We have timed this tour so you can leave Asheville on Friday morning and enjoy the nearby Highlands Motoring Festival that weekend.
Finally, our Empire State Tour will return September 7-12 for its second year with a new date and location. We are moving this tour from July to September to avoid the height of summer, and we’re relocating our hub from Ithaca to Watkins Glen, where we’ll stay at the beautiful Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel on Seneca Lake.
We are planning new routes and new attractions, but will still enjoy the fantastic racing history of this town with drives on both the old and present-day Watkins Glen race track, as well as dinner at the Seneca Lodge and possibly even a cruise out on the lake. Additional treats will include the world class roads up to Canandaigua, as well as a return to the guest-favorite Corning Museum of Glass.
This tour is timed to start just as the annual Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival weekend ends, making it a perfect add-on to the trip of a lifetime
All of these tours will sell out quickly, so act fast to claim your spots. This is our best lineup yet, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Of course, we couldn’t do all of this without the support of our partners. Classic Motorsports Road Tours are presented by Sunoco in association with Chubb and BMW Classic. Here’s to another great year on the road!
