Last week, we spent some time in wine country working on our upcoming Golden State Tour (yes, we know, grueling work. But someone has to do it!).
Our home base for this hub tour is the marvelous mid-century-styled Flamingo Resort in Santa Rosa. After our stay there, we can confirm that the atmosphere and service are fantastic, and the food was the best we have ever experienced at a resort.
Thankfully, the recent fire damage in the Santa Rosa area was minimal and is now mostly covered by fresh growth. As always, the roads and the weather were perfect and allowed us to explore some new wineries and attractions for you to enjoy on the Golden State Tour. To tease just one example, The Armstrong Woods park, full of giant redwood trees, is once again open to the public and will be on our route.
During our travels, we also visited the Cobra Experience museum in San Francisco, a one-of-a-kind shrine to all things Shelby American and another exciting stop we have planned for you on the tour.
With the details worked out, this will no doubt prove to be our best tour ever.
We still have a few spots left, so be sure to reserve yours. You won’t want to miss it.
