Planned 2025 Orange Blossom Tour Itinerary:
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHERE WE’re planning on GOING IN 2025*:
Day 1: Sunday
We’ll arrive at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort and check in around 4:30pm. This resort is located about two and a half hours South of The Amelia, which wraps up right before our tour.
You’ll have some time to check out the beach or explore the amenities at this world class resort before we all meet for cocktails at 6:30 followed by dinner on-property.
Our host hotel will also be hosting the Motorsports Hall of Fame’s annual induction dinner this week, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself sharing an elevator with a celebrity...
Day 2: Monday
We will start this and every other day on the tour with breakfast on-property, followed by our mandatory driver’s meeting in the parking area. We’re especially excited for this year’s version of the Orange Blossom Tour, because this time we get the chance to show you all around our own home town.
We’ll kick off our first day by heading south along the beach towards the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Florida and the third tallest in the United States. There, you’ll have time to explore the museums in what were once the lighthouse keeper’s dwellings and even climb to the top of the lighthouse for an amazing panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean meeting the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.
After finishing up in Ponce Inlet, we’ll head north (to get to a bridge connecting the barrier island to the mainland), then west towards our lunch destination: Victoria Hills Golf Club.
For the afternoon, we’ve planned a scenic boat ride at one of Florida’s many natural springs: DeLeon Springs. Here, we may see alligators, manatees, egrets, turtles and more.
Once we return to the hotel, we’ll chat about the day’s driving at our traditional parking lot bar before heading back to our rooms to freshen up for dinner.
Dinner tonight will be at the Hyde Park Steakhouse inside the hotel.
Day 3: Tuesday
From there, we’ll head south towards Florida’s “space coast” where we’ll visit Seminole Rest Historic Site to stretch our legs before continuing on to lunch.
After enjoying a waterfront lunch at Frigate’s Bar & Grill, we’ll visit the American Muscle Car Museum. This 123,000 square foot facility boasts a huge collection of muscle cars, many of which are rare and low-mileage.
After that, we’ll head back to the hotel.
Tonight’s dinner is on your own, but if you’d like to add an unforgettable experience to your tour, you can join us at the Motorsports Hall of Fame’s annual induction dinner, happening right in our host hotel. This is a black tie event with a star-studded guest list including Mario Andretti, Skip Barber, Ray Evernham, Hurley Haywood, David Hobbs, and many many more. This add-on option is now available on the Orange Blossom Tour Registration Form. If you’re already registered for the tour and would like to add this experience, contact us and we’ll handle the details.
Day 4: Wednesday
From there, we will head to the World Center of Racing, where we’ll to take our cars out on track for a few parade laps. Until you experience the banking at Daytona International Speedway, you have not really seen all that a race track can be.
After parade laps, we’ll head inside to the Motorsports Hall of Fame & Museum, which boasts a dazzling collection of cars, motorcycles and memorabilia from throughout the history of racing as we know it.
Then, we’ll head across the street to one our favorite local Italian places, Tianos, for a delicious lunch.
After lunch, we’ll head north to Washington Oaks Gardens State Park for a dose of nature. Here we’ll take some time to stroll among the gardens at the peak of Florida springtime, when most native species should be in full bloom.
We’ll return to the hotel in time to freshen up and file onto a bus for a ride to another of our favorite local restaurants, Alexander’s Prime.
Day 5: Thursday
Today we’ll start with a special treat: for the first time ever, we will open up our own private collection to the public. Here you can see our workshop, where we build all of our project cars, check out the latest car in progress and see our project car collection.
From there, we’ll head North along the beach towards the fabulous Brumos Collection for a private tour grabbing lunch at one of our favorite waterfront restaurants along the way. Last time we visited the Brumos collection, we were honored to have multi-time Sebring and Daytona winner and long-time friend of the magazine Hurley Haywood leading our tour.
On our way home, we’ll drive along the St. Johns River and through the many farms of western Flagler County.
To say farewell, we’ll have one last parking lot bar, freshen up in our rooms, then meet for cocktails on-property at the hotel at 6:30, followed by our final dinner together.
Day 6: Friday
We’ll wake up refreshed and enjoy one last breakfast at our host resort before going our separate ways.
